Benchmarking and reporting

Users can generate reports based on the scorecards which are registered against their user name, and can also choose to create benchmark reports against other scorecards in the database.

To generate reports or benchmarks the user first has to choose which type of scorecard to use: entry level, intermediate or full global ECR scorecard. It is not possible to generate reports or benchmarks which mix scorecard types.

Reporting tools allow the user to select which scorecards to include in the report either by selecting individually from a list or by setting a number of selection criteria. The selection criteria operate on the information provided in the profile screen of each scorecard.

The user can select to produce the report at summary level or at detailed level and can choose to have the output as a table or as a graph. In some circumstances, the table can be downloaded as a comma separated variable (.csv) file for further analysis in a spreadsheet.

Benchmark requests follow the same logic as report requests except that the user can set the criteria for selecting which scorecards to include in the benchmark analysis. Again the user can select summary or detail and can select table or graphical output. The output compares the user's scorecards with those found in the database which match the criteria set.

A minimum number of 5 matches is required before a benchmark request can be granted.
