Site Manager's roles and responsibilities

The Site Manager's roles and responsibilities

The Global Scorecard Project Group, the companies and organizations they represent and the Site Manager agreed this plan.

1) While the web site is registered to the Site Manager, the scorecards, KPIs and scorecard/KPI data remain the property of the Global ECR Scorecard Project Team, under the auspices of the G.C.I.

2) The Site Manager will maintain the www.globalscorecard.net web site to the minimum specifications as agreed between the Global ECR Scorecard Project Team and the Site Manager. The Site Manager may enhance the site as required to meet the site user needs.

3) The Site Manager will perform, on a no-fee basis, the validation services within the validated database (see Verified or non-verified data under "Getting Started") subject to the following criteria:

  • It is at the Site Manager's discretion as to whether a scorecard can or should be validated
  • The Site Manager will determine the appropriate process for validation
  • The Site Manager may recommend, on a fee basis, certain value added services to companies who wish their scorecards to be validated. There is no obligation for these services to be taken up.

4) The Site Manager will perform, on a no-fee basis, the KPI error checking services within the validated database subject to the following criteria:

  • It is at the Site Manager's discretion as to whether a KPI can or should be added to the database
  • The Site Manager will determine the appropriate process for error checking
  • The Site Manager may recommend, on a fee basis, certain value added services to companies who wish their KPIs to be validated or enhanced. There is no obligation for these services to be taken up

5) Company data content in the benchmarking database remains the property of the individual companies. The ability to maintain the confidentiality of the data is a key element of the site and the site specifications.

6) The Site Manager will not access the database contents for their own use outside the regular inquiry functions available to all participants. The Global ECR Scorecard Project Team may, at times, ask the Site Manager or another party to perform some overall analysis of the data stored on the database without jeopardizing the confidentiality of company-specific data.

7) The Site Manager will not limit "links" to or from this web site subject to the normal commercial and public interest constraints.

8) For their services, the Global ECR Scorecard Project Team grants the Site Manager exclusive advertising rights to the Scorecard web site (without reselling options).
